Young Voices Festival

April 28 and 29, 2017

The University of Alabama School of Music | Tuscaloosa, AL

The Alabama ACDA Young Voices Festival is a unique opportunity for 4th-9th grade students in the state of Alabama. The Young Voices Festival offers choral students a challenging opportunity to perform advanced choral literature under the direction of nationally recognized music educators.

Held every spring since 1993, 4th - 9th grade students are eligible to participate in one of three choirs. Junior High Mixed, Girls' Choir, and a Boychoir under the direction of guest clinicians comprise the two day event. Rehearsals begin Friday afternoon into Friday evening. Students present a final concert, open to the public, on Saturday afternoon.

Biographies on all the clinicians, as well as audition forms, registration forms and further information may be found on the Young Voices Festival website.

Additional information is available on the Young Voices Festival website.  Or you may contact Lisa Latham, event coordinator.
